I want to Fit a tow bar to my gtt ???

Also could anyone tell me wether a clio tow bar would fit or if its simlier or not.

im sure you can fit one, its just finding one tbh. prob just have to track down a second hand one.
as for a clio one fitting, i know the floor plans are very simular if not the same but i couldnt say for sure

well am thinking of adapting somthing just after some ideas.

You'd have to measure up the rear chassis legs, also make sure the spacers will fit correctly inside the legs otherwise you'll crush them when you bolt it up. (might be worth strengthening the legs a bit, there pretty weak on the 5 and usually pretty corroded.

think about what your towing first.. legally i think it cant be more than like 75% of the towing cars weight or somthing, but when im towing in the dirty derv 306 if its heavy it can pull you about a bit. persoanlly i woudlnt want to tow a car or anything with an r5.. a small woodtrailer at most.

I have one on my Phase I for towing the jetski. Just bought one for a standard R5 for A1 towing then cut a small section in the rear bumper.
