Apple iphone 4 upgrade on 02

Right had my iphone 3g for over 21 months (only had an 18 month contract).Would like to upgrade to the iphone 4. Want to be paying around £35 a month for 300-500mins and same amount of texts and want to pay the minimum on buying the handset. Can anybody help me out? or give me some pointers what to say to the o2 staff? :D regards andy

I always have a hunt around before calling for an upgrade to see what other companies are offering, then ring o2 and see what they can do.
I usually just tell them that other places are offering more for the same money or slightly less, and being a loyal customer they tend to knock a bit off or throw in extra goodies :)
