i baught a WD 1tb external hard drive from pc world about 3 weeks ago.
but now its fooked i plug it in the computer beeps to show the usb device is plugged in and the small icon comes saying safetly remove hardware, but everytime i go to do something to do with the hd it just freezes the pc, ie open my computer or device manager)
but anyway my dcilema is i still have the recipt and can quite easly take it back and get a new one, however it is Full up with data mainly pc games 360 games & dvd's which of course ive download which isnt exactly legal so if i take it back and get them to repair it i might get done for downloading illagely?
i need my data what shall i do??
