I've never seen one, we always had to cut off what we needed when i worked at renault body shop, but they might do,as our parts manager was to lazy to look into it further, cant you get lower section from the likes of adrian panels etc.

Dominic cheers for the info. There are no surrounds listed on Hadrian Panels website? I guess they only do a selection of common panels for each car??

It hasn't been avaiable for years now the lower section. The complete surround is also na. I have one left but am keeping it for my car.

Can someone please tell me the part number of #15 (maybe also the price)?
Should it be inserted as in this picture? Because in Whitey the nuts were under the dash.

The nuts for the bracket for the battery tray should be under the dash and a re a pain in the arse to get to, but most peeps when putting it the bracket back in will put the bracket back in the other way so the nuts will be in the bay

They where fitted from Renault with the nuts in the engine bay. The bracket will be held in place with the sound deadening over the centre section. The picture also shows which way round they go.

Ok thanks. Shame though as plenty of cars are rotting round the windscreens. With no replacement panels i guess we are looking at hand made.

And also on Whitey. ;)
But I do not think that was ever touched. The nuts were like brand new under the dash.
And all the other 4 nuts are facing away from the tray.
To put this clamp in the other way you have to remove the dashboard and the sound deadening. I think it was fitted both way. Maybe depends on the year of make.

Mat, the way to do it might be to find a 5 somewhere and just cut the whole panel out through the roof pillars and the inner wings to keep it complete. Then grind the back of the panel off to save drilling the spots out. That way you can keep the panel intact and not damage it?
