View Full Version : spoiler spoiling the car???
well my cars really not far from ready now, im going to be spraying my louverd bonnet next week & fitting it, but well im at it i was thinking of completly removing the rear spoiler just smothing over the holes and blowing it over leaving it completly spoiler less.
what do you guys think? will it look  or spoil the modded image?
if anyones really good with photoshop please can you remove the spoiler on theys pics would be greatly apreacheated :)

alrite mate, in my opinion i say keep it on i think it suits the kit you got :)
no spoiler with that body kit would look wrong maybe a smaller one or even at a push a standard one,i'm not a big fan of BIG spoilers,on a small car like the 5 thay can over power the look of the car,but it will need something.but that's just me
I see what the others are saying, proportion wise it might be better to keep it :agree: tbh if I was to change one thing on your car it would be those rear lights.

i'd say leave it, or if you wanna change the look of the car, lose the spoiler + front splitter, and go for oe side skirts and rear bumper..:)
Thanks guys some great opinions, think maybee your right i had a play with photoshop and at a poor atempt managed to remove it, & it does look silly..shame ive seen a few 5's without the spoiler and they look so sweet ;)
the fuel flap is not just a stick on :D i also thaught about changing the rear lights but again standard once probally wont look right and the once that rob pictured i personaly HATE!, i remember nayls trying to sell me a set a while back told him then they were disgusting, they look like theyve just been nicked of the back of a double decker bus.
back to spoiler i just think that monte carlo one is a tad big, maybe a tarmac one would be better?

Lose the bodykit and spoiler and fit the factory items, will look 100% better, but thats just my 2 pence so ignore me and I'll get back in the cupboard:rolleyes:

thanx rob still thinking about it i will let you know ;)
Standard :dearme: how boring.
i prefer subtle mods,, modifying standard kit and lowering and the right wheels i think is the best way :) IMO
when i was younger i used to like these big body kits n stuff..(when i was like 16)... althought i do like some big kits but usually on big cars. :)
defo get the tarmac!! best spoiler for the 5 imo,on a modded 5 that is!
