Good day all .

I have a BMS down pipe on my car at the mo wich will be staying on it, i think its 2.5" maybe some one can confirm that?

i currently have fitted to it the k-tec sidey wich i believe is also 2.5" ?. basically i want to revert back to the rear exit as the sidey makes my car sound like a tractor and also its not allowed for my mot test..

I have a scorpian exhaust but its just to small for the bms down pipe , borris made me an adapter to make them fit together but its not ideal.

where can i get a 2.5" exhaust from with a nice big shiny tailpipe like my scorpian one ?

am sure ktec do them not sure about cgb, failing that you could always have one made and mate it to to scorpion back box maybe if thats poss

i have a ktec downpipe on mine which is 2.5" and thats coupled to a 2.25" scorpion system it wont give u any probs or really sap any power fella

Think k-tec was the only company which done the 2.5" rear exit as well. But best thing is to get a custom one made up, wont be too bad on cost as you wont need to get it shipped over to yours.

k-tec want £353 , and wont ship to me anyway.
maybe ill try and get a pipe made going from 2 - 2.5 ,
i was hopeing there was gonna be an exhaust system on the market but cant find anything.

will having the downpipe and my smaller exhaust joined with the adapter borris made me have any downsides ? back pressure etc ? im only running 13psi at the mo.

i would leave mine on , i honestly dont mind the noise (i kinda like it) but it leaves the whole at the rear bumper and i have to change it every time my test comes round as the guy in the test center said side exits are not allowed in germany :mart: unless factory fitted or for racing. :crap:

Why?
They have posted me the whole system to Hungary last year.

how about organising your own courier ? failing that if ur set on keeping 2.5" then get one custom made :agree:

Or RTOC delivery service if you are making it to the ring. Thats if someone local has space and time to get it before then and willing to take it over.

Tell them its a race car

I'd go with a reducer fitted further down the exhaust, like in the straight section that goes between the downpipe and first bend?

I'd happily swap your sidey for my rear exit, it's a mongoose I think. Pretty sure it's 2 1/4 or 2 1/2" deffo not 2"
Just not sure how we'd go about it :crap:
