If my car was 20 year old it would be cheap! but because its 19 year old they cant insure it cheap any more.

And turbo technics cant supply a turbo without an old one to work from?

So 20 years old is classic 19 is not? surely they have to drawn the line somewhere. If it was insured as a classic before I assume something has changed regarding classification of a classic car?

except 2 years ago i named which club i was part of and they appeared soon after flawting for custom

sorted now. performance direct offered £381 classic

But i chose instead to use my 5 years no claims, on a normal policy £440.
no limited mileage

Also my girlfiend can be insured to car also for £720 all in so thats not bad either considering shes 23, Beats the 640 crap and nackers FJ quoted me anyway.

I'm with them... cheapest by far, and bar one year they always have been. Very happy with their service, but then again I've never had to claim!

I thought classic was certain models over 15 years.

FJ also won't insure you if you tell them your car has over 10% extra power. So that's 132 bhp for us GTT BOYS!

When I was trying to re-insure my other car I was turned down by so many companies.
I was told by a couple that things have changed a lot in the last few months in the insurance game, and being under 25 didn't help at all.
Ended up costing an extra £550 a year...
