sounds more like it has a fuel cut defender fitted and is not set right......my brother has a glanza;)
Thats what i thought at first but was talking to a few guys on the gt forums and they were saying its unlikey as the mods i have shouldnt cause this. But i gave the garage in wishaw a call today they said they can check it all out on the rr for £45 which sounds not to bad tbh,Plus it seems to be running a tad high on low boost 13.5psi on low boost :O not even tryed to see what its running on high boost.
as said on msn gary ..nice starlet :) ..hopefully get a run in it soon :) Looks a clean one also :smokin:
Gary this is the only site i have had any good advice from, and it has some good articles......

nice car:agree:
nice looking car that, it was a toss up for me either the five or a glanza tho i do perfer the newer model :coffee:. I think for me it was the  retro look of the five.
Mat
Agree it does look nice:)can't beat the
stealth look ;)
to be fair I prefer the starlet over the glanza as the glanza looks to much like a micra.and the glanzas are heavier

if you're talking about the standard lo/hi boost switch then that has been disconnected if you are running 13.5 psi on low boost

Ah ryt so is 13.5psi what it should be if it was on high boost??

Cheers mate got it for £1500 sold my old 5 to a guy in kilmarnock told him to join the club asap :D hope he does
looks nice my mate had 1 and that had a fuel cut on it. And it had the same symptoms. I would have to take the child seat out though
yeah the child seat is a temp thing untill the missus passes her test .i am not 100% why its juddering but been told ht leads as 80% of juddering is down to igniton side of things.also a few guys on the uk starlet club said its more than likely to be a bad spark as a fuel cut is like a hard stall as if your engine is about to cut out then start again it dont seem that bad.But i could be think i might take it to a place not to far from me in wishaw called the garage they said they would check over everything and adjust the boost to the correct settings if its not already on the correct settings for £45 so might do that this wend if i can afford it:laugh:.had a good look under the bonnet today noticed it has a adjustable boost controller also the coolent was mega low :o hardly a dribble but has now been toped up with some anti frezze :D
Ah ryt so is 13.5psi what it should be if it was on high boost??
yeah, round about that mate, try the button,it may not be connected?
it get's disconnected to remove the restriction in 1st & 2nd gear

If it were a pic of the underneath of a 5 id say it was the reverse switch, could be that? do the lights come on when you stick it in reverse?
