Throttle cable

hi guy's on my renault conversion with a volvo i was wounerding what throttle cable i can use, i'm i able to use a universal cable or a paticuler cable i should ask for? :confused:
Plus do i need to change any thing to drive shaft as i'm having trouble with the drive shaft on drivers side when trying to fit it in?

i used a gt cable and gt drive shafts on by b18ft conversion as do many others :)

Thanks mate but mine looks abit short tho and i'm not sure if i should i buy i new throttle cable for the renault 5 GTT because i have dalts that it won't be long anough plus on the renault and the volvo the cables are different at the ends. :confused:

i bought a universal gtt cable from cgb as its plenty long enough and modded it to fit on the throttle bodie end, looped it round the throttle and used a couple of wiring block connectors as stops.

I used a a standard cable but the nipple that normally goes in the throttle pedal end is now in the throttle body.
I then used an old style push bike bull dog brake wire clamp at the pedal end.

Hope that makes sence
