i had this problem with my gripper diff aswell the leak is coming from the drivers side diff seal ,the spline shaft in the diff moves in and out by about 6mm which causes it to leak ,i got over this problem by fitted two diff seals .
to fit the two diff seals together you need to cut down the outside lip of each seal so you can fit one on top of the other and that has stopped the leak now for over 2 1/2 years;)

When my friends quaife box came back from them one of the seals leaked, they repaired it FoC, but it was a pain to remove and send it back! Hopefully yours will not be a diff seal! It is one of those things when you split a box, sometimes they dont llike the new seals?!!!
