Anything between ET 45-35 front and 45-25 rear will fit on standard or lowered car.

he has coilovers on the front and the inside wall of tyre has been catching the height adjuster nut which is not good. spacers would solve this but i dont like em. Would ET 35 provide enough room for clearence?? The coilovers are ktec ultimate things.

I have ET42 on mine. Had coilovers and it rubbed also. I fitted 8mm spacers and solved problem. So, ET35 would be on the edge. It is possible that doesn't rub while standing but in some corners it could :crap:

My gtt used to have a fanny hair between the tyre/coilover height ring with the turbines on Matt, sounds about right. I adjusted the camber back to standard using the bolts that fit in the hub, give me 3mm ish clearance.

et42 with an 8mm spacer equals et34

don't forget that there is more clearance with PH1 suspension, make sure you're all comparing the same things.

If he's rubbing on the locknut he's probably running too low.

I know that 42-8=34 but i just compared it to 35 that Matt mentioned. My rubbers rubbed only when it was maximum lowered. Rubber was 195/45/15.

Its not that its too low Andy its actually quite high due to the gash k tec front bumper it used to have. The tyres at the moment are 195/50's which aint the problem its the offset, probably vauxhall alloys as i think they came off a corsa. So ET 35 sounds like it would be ok as i know a few people that have clio turbines have very little space and they are ET38??

I think Vauxhall is ET49, best try and read what they are, then play with washers to space the wheels out to check for clearance (static, not cruising the high street).

The reason why I say low is that I couldn't adjust the rings on my suspension any lower than the top of the tyre, so if you're hitting the tyre your rings must be low enough to hit the tyre.
