i need a pic of the back of the carb where the choke cable etc links up as the lad i bought mine off has bodged it up and left me springless etc

Ace will have look later as I can't see it properly on my phone and I'm needing to know where the accelerator cable fits

I think (been a while since I've played around with a 5) there were two different setups for the carb. One where the accelerator cable came from the passenger side, and one where is came from the drivers side.

the one where the cable comes from passenger side, has a clamp that the cable goes into where the pivot is on the left of above pix and attaches where the green circle finishes on the right but the spring is still the same i think wasnt on my car but that wasnt a standard spring. the one in the pix cable comes from drivers side thats pretty obvious tho:laugh:
