IMHO a Maxi is worth a lot more than £60k! How many Maxi's were made? 20, with 10 broken up immediately by Renault, without being used. How many still exist? 7 or 8. How many are owned by Renault themselves? 4. That means there's only 3 or 4 genuine Maxi's 'available' worldwide. There's a lot, lot more 6R4's, and RS200's. After all, there were over 200 of each of those made.

The 5 Maxi is Renault's equivalent of Audi's S1. It's the Evolution model of the R5 Turbo. Evolution models of Group B cars are worth big dollar these days. As an example, here's an Evolution version of a Lancia 037 for sale:

There was an Audi S1 for sale on there a while back that was up for a bit more than that. I'd say that there are more of both of those left than there are 5 Maxi's (I think there are 17 Audi S1's left, out of the 20 - I did have a list of them somewhere).
