car holding back

ok , ive set my car to run at 1.3 bar of boost along and have wot readings of 11.5.

A full boost, when i go from 2nd to 3rd i get a few seconds of either no power at all , or the car holding back, very shortly after i get a strong smell of fuel.

Is this as i should be aiming more for a wot afr of around 12.1 and the extra fuel is possibly hindering it? , i didnt have chance to glance at the Afr at the time of doing it as the few times its done it i was going pretty quick.

Carb spec & are you on a standard needle jet ?

OK just looked, try the 1.0mm as it sounds like it may be a tad rich, my old car did this when I had a 2.3 needle jet.... unless I flat shifted :wasntme:
