for me its to fit the clutch ratchet "hope the new clutch works:crap:" refit the rear arch plastics and jet wash the carpets. any advice on shampoo for it? and take my little lad out in the 5 to hear a dump valve (im not keeping it on before you start just for the weekend):) easy weekend me thinks :cool:

pah, 10 min job......Makes life a hell of alot easier without the o.e brackets etc in place :D

Well after getting my 5 started after 2 years of it being sat on my other ramps, turns out something must of dropped down the carb. bent two valves and munged a piston( ive swapped the piston this morning) and ordered all the other bits bobs and parts so monday will be spend rebuilding the damn thing lol.

Well that didn't go anything like the plan..

Worked Saturday till 12, cooked a steak for dinner :P then Sunday did the speedo on my brothers car which I've been putting off for weeks. Then today I watched expendables before a what was a planned evening of nothing, but turned into changing the wiring loom on jamie8's 5gtt. Not easy as it's a car that's unknown to me and alot of junks in the way, bad fixes in the past etc.

Either way it's now got full rad wiring and the switch on the dash is in the bin.

My bad, I didn't think it would take that long :( , fan kicks in when it should though :agree:

clean those wishbones up and I'll take them to work and press the polybushes in for you, then we can get the s/f back on and start bolting your car back together before the weather gets too cold :)
