View Full Version : turbo specs
ok , made a call today and found that my stage 3 turbo is
a .47 turbine housing,
t2 internals
with a t25 compressor housing and wheel
and a 360 degree thrust bearing.
Anybody care to explain roughly what the above equates to, what i can expect from it etc.

T25/T2 - Should be fairly responsive and good for fast road usage with little lag,
just to revive my old topic,
any idea what power i could potentially be pushing through this.
Standard rebuilt engine.
turbo as above,
side exit,
borris 2.5 " downpipe,
tubular manifold.
around 18-20psi, with fueling at wot in the region of 11.7

@ a guess 170-180bhp:agree:
cool man, whats really what i was expecting :), cheers
if a 285 cam were to be added to that list....
would it give much of an increase/difference on power over standard cam?.... or will it be doing very little unless a larger turbo is used along side?
surely thats a stage 2 turbo then? my tt stage 3 unit is a full t25 with a .49 housing im sure..

I got told the 270 cam is more suited to this turbo allthough you can still fit a 285, but 285 is more suited to the full t25 so more power higher up in the revs
