Right everybody, I'm hoping to use this thread to consolodate a few PM's I've recieved recently from people up here in Jockistan looking to go to Nat Day.

Can anyone still interested in going down as a group make yourself's known here, and we'll sort something instead of all the PM's flying around.

Ta muchly:D

Aye, mine should be ready as well.

The Boss and Emma are going down on the Thursday, so thats two cars out the running, but if we include Finsta, about 5/6 cars going.

Everyone happy to try and go Friday?

Yip sounds good, usual meet at the services. Can't mind the name but we know the one lol
Finsta was checking to see who was going as well. So should be one of the biggest convoys from the land of the great lol :smokin::coffee::laugh:

Sounds good - I'll be easy to spot. The smoke pishing out the bonnet or off the tyres might be a wee giveaway!

hmmm I'd ditch that stay on the M6 join with the M1 then up to junction 21 :) as detailed on the mallory website ;) http://www.mallorypark.co.uk/Portals/0/How%20to%20Get%20to%20Mallory%20Park060.pdf

The M62 is very fiddly and won't save you anytime. trust me I've tried just about every route from scotland to the midlands :D

Billy-G

The M62 is a pain in the backside. Because of it's layout and importance to keeping the other routes moving, it's also a perennial favourite with unmarked plod.

any ideas of what time u guys are heading off on friday ?

im easy about a route to be honest ,i just thought that might have been the easiest .Im happy to just go with the flow ;)

FWIW, I'd advise us all leaving early. It's pitch bloody dark at 7.30pm these days. Not fun if you're pitching a tent or trying to cook.

How's this for getting the ball rolling :coffee::laugh:

Meet up at Junction 11 (B7078) and Happendon Services (CAIRN LODGE) ? say between 11:30am - 12:30pm ? Mud are the times any good for you ? Or is around 1pm a bit better for work ?

Then up at

Gretna Service Area (WELCOME BREAK)A74(M)
or

Todhills Service Area (MOTO) A74 for the lads that are in carlisle or borders

Pm our mobile numbers before hand :coffee:

Pick a time that suits everyone ,so there is a bit of leeway for miss haps that may occur (you gotta love the 5 lol)

Drop by my place if you like Mike - it saves about 30 minutes off the usual M8/M74 join route if you go through where I live anyways, just off Junction 6 of the M8 and go the Garrion Bridge way to the M74.

I plan on being at the Cairn Lodge for 12.30, and we can hook up from there:agree:
