View Full Version : Trackday insurance
Just wondered who bothers with this & who you use/how much it costs.
Steve
I use REIS, get 4 trackdays included in policy for less than £400.
Greenlight insurance are who i used for many yrs with my Renaults.
Competition car insurance in Nottingham do individual days.
Hope this gives you some info:)
Thanks Steve, I am prob looking at just the odd day as I have just started a new policy.

Flux have just started doing trackday as well, though not particularly cheap "from £63"

Wouldn't mind that to much if it meant I was fully comp, no quibbles payout.

I've used Richard eiger for track days, was £43 for the day but had a £500 excess, it covered everything ie bodywork, engine, transmission.

I got a quote from adrian flux:
Racing mk1 golf, to and from race meetings and insured on trackdays - non competitive events
1500 miliage limit,
agreed value of £4000
Zero no claims bonus
23 years old
- £450odd
Thought that was pretty good! That may have crept into a classic policy, im not sure.
Got that at the autosport show.
my track insurance is including in my hic policy.. doesnt cover me for timed events tho. im paying about 600 all in on my 5
