Croft - Track Day Photos

Hi Guys.

After Mallory Parks Track day we were so unhappy with the handling of the car, it felt twitchy and unstable, Speedy drove it and came to the same conclusion.

So We decided that the first Crofy Track day was on at the wekeend so we got a place its a "quite" sessions 8 x 15min slots. Our car was 85db so we were ok its below 88db. and 86db Drive pass.

We decided the r888 Tyres needed to be tested so we got some new williams wheels and fitted the tyres, second hand tyres but they "did" have lots of life left in them, we did soem home work and decided to adjust and mess with the suspension, now when we decided to go "mid" way at therear i counted the clicks of the damers 30 in total one was as hard as it would go and the other as soft as it would go..... We dont knwo how the hell this has happened!!!! but never the less we adjusted both up to 15, Adjusted to tyres pressures 23psi cold, and off we went.

All i can say it We love the Car again, and we were the fastest car out there in the 1st Group, I am a Happy Bunny here are some photos :)

There was a loverly White r26R on track in group 2 it sounded awsome!!! and was very quick

Nice one Andy, i told you a decent set of tyres would allow that car to come alive as there was zero grip at Mallory!!! Just out of interest, what was the tyres you had on before so i can avoid them!!?

Yokahama s Drives, in the dry there ok.....


the 888s were great untill the end of the day i think i over cooked them, i only cut the gras once, oh and drove into the cones on the hairpin once with a little optermistic driving

good pics andy , glad youre both happy with the car again, i hate that feeling!, i must say im surprised croft let you out with t shirts on though...:scratch:, looks like the car was going well though bud...nice to hear.
