Number of owners usually means more work for new owner but thats what i like. It'll be boring if all 5 were mint and reliable. As a hobby it keeps me busy fixing these little pocket rockets

it can be a worry, but if its solid then it doesn't really matter so long as most of its there..

my 5's have always had under 5 owners and been good, i only noticed how bad some can be after sniffing about some others.. mines had a knackered window motor and 20 years of use that i can live with, but some are wrecked, nothing works and if it does its hanging off or badly fitted..

id rather drive a stripped 5 than have things that dont work, smashed door cards etc etc etc.. we all live with a few jobs that need doing but some 5's have a list thats just to long..

As long as the fundamentles are all there, and its mechanicly sound with a decent (20yr old) body.. it should be ok :)
