The thread in the classifieds is already closed so I haven't had the chance to tell, that I'll be the happy owner of Whitey.

It was not easy to solve this purchase 2.200kms away, but a very good friend of mine has helped me.

No, the car is not registered at K-tec, and I'd like to keep its original state. ;)

She will be my 2nd GTT. I already have a tungy for tuning.

Hope I can get to the next year's ND with Whitey.

Mart said it was sold, effectively, on Saturday but wouldn't mention who it was.

Nice car.

Thanks, I'm really very happy.
The car is in Luton. My friend bought it for me. Now I have to take a plane and fly for it. And than I have the big journey to home.
But my friend told me, there will be no problem driving home as the car is mint.
He just drowe the car to Luton and he was amazed.
He is also a GT owner in Hungary. ;)

Thanks mate.
Not yet. As I have posted in another thread I'm ready with the title and the dotted shade but do not know the exact colors.
But only some weeks left till I can get Whitey home and than I'll have an original source. :D

I'll let you know.
Whith my GTT I've already traveled to Germany and to Swiss without any problem.
I'm sure Whitey is even better. ;)

The thread where Mart has advertised Whitey is already deleted. But I wanted to save his first post whith the details of the car.
Can someone help me if it is possible?
Or maybe someone still have that thread in his browser cache?

Whitey has successfully arrived to Hungary!!!! :)

It was about 1.150miles but she did it without any problem!!!
We have started on the 22nd at 7:00pm and arrived yesterday at 4:30pm. It was nearly 22hours.
If I'm correct she took only 125l for the whole journey. So the consumption was less than 7l / 100km. ;)

It was the first time I have driven a RHD car. But it was no problem on the motorway. It's only a bit strange in the city.

I have come with a friend so we could change after some hundred miles. And the car was fully packed.

No can do for the RR event I'm afraid mate :( Got a company do on the Saturday/night, plus even if I sacked that off, we're moving house around that time (or hopefully the weekend before).

We need the Brigsynator to organise a Sunday run-out before the Winter weather sets in...

Cheers Trev :) :agree:

It's just passed its MOT with flying colours (albeit needing a tweak from the rear brake comp'), so that's now the final piece of the jigsaw for getting it re-registered with the DVLA

All being well, it should be reg'd/road legal by end of play Friday...(*touchwood*)
