have had a few issues with fuel gauge and thought about fitting a tim fuel gauge but bin told they ony work with there own sender (below)

has anyone fitted one of these at all or have any info on them, thanks

i tried a smiths one a few years ago, and that had to be used with its own sender, usually designed for locost style fuel cells, like in your link. i was tempted to chop it down, bend the floats to sit right etc but would have taken alot of testing so didn't bother. also got scoff to check if it could be used with the help of resistors but would have read wrong like just a quarter of the guage would have read full so again not used.

Thanks for that, might fit a fuel cell yet but just use a sight glass if possible

no probs, dunno why people go to all that expense when ya can just bin the main tank, bung up where the aux tank joins and just fit the main pump where the aux pump is as its low on the tank, so would be gravity fed. not sure if the pipe is too narrow or how well it would work but worth a try for free ;)
