Temp gauge

Took the car out earlier all was fine, when I got back in after about 20 minutes the temperature gauge is not working, I renewed the dials about 3 weeks ago and they all have worked fine, until today....:(:

Anyone got any ideas?????

What connections on the dash board connector???? Where does the gauge get the temp reading from is it the stat on the rad???

It's on the water pump, check conectors.

Yep !

Just looked and someone had done a botched job on the sensor on the pump by stuffing the wires into the spade connectors.
I have removed the plug and re crimped and soldered the wires back on and heatshinked the joint. All working now.
