Help fuel coming out of my bleed valve!!!

I ve just had my car on the rolling road all was fine and ten when i opened the bleed valve up fuel started coming out the pipe on the bleed valve!! my pipe goes from the brass nipple at the base of the carb above the manifold one and straight into the actuator with the bleed valve in the middle???

if you take it form the carb top instead of the base you wont get this problem, at the carb base the fuel has all ready been mixed with the air. You may have to adjust the bleed valve a little more at the carb top to get the same boost as when its taken off the base as there is a slight drop in pressure but thats about it.
