Phase 2 Front bumper part no required as reno tried to sell my bro one off a clio. Fixing brackets and screws too if possible ta!:agree:

Thought that would be the case... is that Renault UK or just a few renault dealership's... even so the part number would come in handy for me to use my contacts across europe ;)

If i can get a order of 4 or so i know a contact who can get 4 complete set's... the "last" 4 sets but were looking at £800+ for the 4 set's!!

Dont think many people will pay £200+ for a set... do you?

That is what I thought, but these are the only ones I can find! Have tried all my contacts. They will not budge on the price.

I kept meaning to buy a set of fronts when they were £16 each a couple of years back. I've got brand new front and rear bumpers, and the rear bump strip. All I needed was the fronts. Oh well, serves me right I guess :sad:

well they wont, as i was on the phone today, and thats the response i got one side of the front is available... unless the managaer or kiln lane is taking my money and not gonna give me the parts!

Just trying to save you time, Renault parts which UK dealers use say they are still available. The order then gose to France and there are none. I have logged on and checked.

Not sure, but on my system they ran out over 3 weeks ago, hence CGB has removed them from his website. I know where 4 sets are but they are £££s. If your man does come through I will buy a few sets and sort you out a few beers.:agree:

Are the strips side specific? They seem to give parts on different sides different numbers, often with different prices when in fact they are the same. I kn wthey have rationalized some of this and one side becomes unavailable.

Yes they are side specific. The driver's side was the first to run out, shortly followed by the passenger's side. Renault parts updated the driver's side but he passenger's side hasn't been updated. Renault France say all gone! Cgb started only selling passenger's side about a month ago. He put his last complete set on ebay. Now he lists none.

Good thinking though. I was gutted when I tried to re-order on-line and they went back order straight away and this is never a good sign. Renault has loads of parts listed as avaiable in the UK and most dealers will place the order as their system isn't upto date. It is onlywhen you call and ask them to look in the parts bin do you get the real answer.

Ok, time is running out. I have been given until lunch time today to say yes or no to the last 4 sets of bumper strips. If anyone knows the answer as to whether or not they can still get hold of them please let me know before I take the plunge. It is not going to be cheap, but if they are the last 4 sets up for sale them it might be worth getting them.

Thing is I very much doubt anyone will be willing to pay £200 just for those two strips thats just crazy money, also last set went on eBay for just £100.

£200 even £250 is not that bad condidering that if you wish to fully restore a car you would need these items.

As they are original items... people will buy them

I never thought I would pay £650 for a second hand 3 door cossy dash with a crack in it, but needs must. The set on ebay that went for £100 was this year how much next year, the year after etc. Worth a gamble ???? I have been asking myself this time and time again.

This is a sure sign of things to come:( £50 for a pair of raider door badges:crap:

£200 for some front bumper strips!:crap:

Still, most GT turbos are now at least 20 years old so I suppose it's to be expected.

Agree with getting reps made, but the 3 door cossy owners did this a few years ago and the price was silly as we only needed a small number. Anyone on here make bumper moulding etc?

Lol sounds about right, but the price is going to put alot of people off... i wonder if Renault will ever do another production run... maybe a group buy could be done through renault.
