smooth door locks

Although im against drastically modifying r5's, im not a fan of the big shiny door locks in the middle of what is a very nice straight door panels.

For this reason im just wondering that the deal is with shaving the door locks, is it litrally.. fit remote central locking, and weld /fill the door locks, hey presto job done ?

Yeh, pretty much. The only issue I have, is what I your battery goes flat? Could climb in through the boot I guess. Just don't smooth the boot :laugh:

the AA will poke a + lead up to the starter and earth the block.. someone once said a lead running off and have a termimal in a easy to reach place could be an answer:)

i too dont like the locks, too easy to pop out with a screwdrivers:(
