Can anyone point me in the right direction to find a metal wrapped throttle cable and not the crap plastic ones that seam to be available now. A mate has melted his and we need a replacement before Mallory.

If we cant get a metal wrapped one can anyone advise protection from heat for the plastic type? Thanks

It shouldnt really be a problem, i recently replaced mine as the muppet who done it previously had routed it to close to the manifold and also melted mine, since the new route all is good and mine is an original renault one wrapped in the plastic.

Depending on what brackets you have for the throttle cable you could use a 2nd hand one off a campus.
