Chargecooler pump

Hope someone can help,a brand new bosh chargecooler pump was fitted to my car at the weekend.and although it was working I don't think it was right,as it was very quiet compared to my dads,also the water was flowing but very slowly(hardly noticeable)
and when I got in tonight I checked it and it had stopped working and it was very hot
can someone please confirm how noisey a pump should be and if the water should be noticeably swirling around the header tank???

I can hear mine make a noise and if the pace header tank is not full to the brim theres a lot of water swirling around much more than the pace pump.
