Hi guys ive owned my gt for 3 years now and ive hit a dead end:mad:. It seems like its an on going job which is never going to end. I changed the head gasket the other day and now the car wont idle proply and i cant get the brakes to work. Im willing to pay some one to come down and point me in the right direction and get her to run decently. ive tryed most of the good garages around my area but they all say i need a specialist. Can anyone help before i decide to break the car which i really dont want to do but i need a car. cheers matt

cant be much mate did you set the tappets correctly after doing head gasket? is everything tight carb hoses etc?
and brake wise when you took the head off you probly knocked the plastic type hoses out of the master cylinder as they push in just see if you have any brake fluid and give it a check over

Had this the first time I did a head gasket, check the breather pipe to the servo is on the 1 way valve nice and tight and check the vavle isn't loose in the manifold

Shaftesbury, ive kind of sorted it now but i could really do with some one to give the car a check over and to help sort out the wires and boost pipes. cheers for the advice.
