need help! idle problems??

hi,gave my carb a overhaul today changed all the gaskets and cleaned it out.now i have idle problems at first it was ok but now its idling irratically after driving about and when i come to stop its cutting out.i tried the idle screw but still its irratic.i gave the air fuel mix screw a few turns either way but didnt seem to do anything.is there a certain amount of turns this is ment to be set at or is it just different on every car?:confused: thanks

Hmm im in tadworth if you wanna pop up we can have a look.

Id have a look at the carb base gasket, and put a lick of sealent on it both sides.

It could be that,

Or muck in a jet. have you got carb cleaner?
