daewoo lanos turbo? [Archive]

i was outside my house earlier, which doubles as a boyracer drag strip, and i heard this rather potent exhaust and dump valve combo - had a peek only to see it was a daewoo lanos in tasteful maroon, lowered, but that was about it.
i've looked into it, but i know they never produced a turbo'd one.
maybe it was a GM c20LET conversion?:agree:

Probably c20let mate, bolt in conversion. Nice sleeper but ugly looking car!

it is a c20let sparkie is a right weapon too apparently has around 400bhp has stand alone management etc... a friend of mine knows him

Its crept past my house a couple of times, redish in colour. Bloody ugly but class as a sleeper

to be fair, it didnt look too bad, very subtle.

i was almost glad it wasnt another bloody 1.2 corsa..... :laugh:
