is anyone using a turbo blanket and are they worth the money at keeping inlet and under bonnet temps down?
I was thinking about getting one but could not find any facts apart from people saying it works no real figures if you know what I mean. but found two types on ebay.

apparently the cheaper one is sold by someone that use to work for PTP turbo. But all you find on the web is each company slagging each other off.

i keep finding conflicting stories too. if it keeps underbonnet temps down then im all for it.
But theres no hole for the actuator rod though.
I looked at loads of hoods/blankets and in the end I decided to get my manifold, turbine housing and downpipe ceramic coated. Very impressed so far :)
How much did that set you back mate?
What sort of temp losses have you seen in the engine bay?
Also been looking into this and getting one .. i found one at owen developments which is dearer than ebay ones ... dont know if its any different tho ....
