Turbo blanking bolt.

Hi people.

I was wondering if anyone knows what thread size the air take off on my turbo is. As I want to blank it off with a bolt.

thats going too be one ull need too remove it and measure it could be 18/npt or 3/8npt

As andy said it will most likely be a npt thread making it hard to get a bolt to fit.

I just ran a small tap down the hole of the brass take-off & screwed a bolt in to blank it off:agree:

what turbo is it? i have a turbo technics t2/25 and im looking for one of these as mine has a grub screw blanking mine off. If you can find out the thread size il check mine and maby do some kind of swap.

SCHWARTZ It's from a Cosworth 2wd turbo. if I find out what thread it is I'll let you know. :)

If not tapping it for a more common thread will be the way forward. Thanks Andy & Brigsy
