Two intercoolers

just having a look at a cruise that was not far from me the other night and seen a pic of this nice 5 and then there was a pic of the engine bay it had a gt tuning double cap and a ktec front mount.what would be the need for this ??.and why lol.first i have ever seen it on any 5

To be honest i can't see the point of 2, thats a full GT Tuning set-up from moons ago. I know his replacement 'breadbin' intercooler was ok (best of all replacement intercoolers) but if you still need it in place with the front mount how good is the front mount on its own? :crap:

Also he has three bloody dump valves :eek: 3 dumps and two coolers.think its just a bit over the top lol

no, it could be double the cost............buts its triple..


that bread bin was 400 quid new, the front mounts gotta be 600 odd with all the gear, and what about the water spray system..

lol tbh i think they guy has went bonkers like mark said and bought everything.think he should be getting a membership on here and selling some of his goodies to us :laugh:

I've seen that car at santa pod, it had C02 sprayed on the front mount aswell, **** knows why it needed so much charge cooling, the turbo it had then was smaller than what I have now and I make do with just 1 front mount

Seen this a few times, a knw the previous owner john, he was tryin to get rid for 3500 but am sure he got 2700 for it!

Its tidy looking in the flesh, he only used it through summer months hated gettin it wet hahahaha
