If its got a standard rad fan switch and thermostat then thats almost about where the fan kicks in, that one is just slightly higher but only a smidging.

mine sits just below that line then fan kicks in once its on the line  but ally rad and oil cooler coming soon so hope it runs cooler than it does now:confused:

I'll be honest mate sounds ok to me for a standard set up, its not as hot as you think.

If temp went up and stayed higher then i'd be worrying.

i say its too high.. my cooling setup is all standard apart from the low temp fan switch... which im not even sure its low temp lol... and still never goes past half way!

Dont see how alloy rad will help...

What sort of connectors you got on your rad fan switch mate? Small terminals or the big spade ones?

If it kicks in around halfway it sounds like low temp, thing is yours would run cooler if the fans kicking in earlier as its keeping at a constant lower temp.

alloy rad will disperce the heat quicker than standard rad plus its 50mm thick :)
