temps

in the last few weeks the temps have been slowley getting hotter when on a motorway or sitting in traffic. the temp gauge is sitting on the 3rd line. ive tried changing the rad and stat but this has made no differance to the temps. could this be a sign the pump is on its way out. car normally never gose anywhere near to the 3rd line but this little problem is driving me mad. ive got a spare pump to try is there anything else to look for. any help will be apricated.

What rad you got in the car mate? Is it good condition?

the full copper rad only just stated to happen in last few weeks. so after trying t find out what culd cause it im now a bit stuck.

james5 had the same problem and it turnt out it was his water pump.

check the stat is opening first

thanks matt tried that all was well. pump now changed and air out f the system just got to give it a run.

royz did it sort out the temp problem ive got the same problem on mine and the water pump is next on the list, ive checked the stat the rad and done a pressure test

all is looking good after a few runs about today. even after a few good runs :) temps were down to below half way while driving
