Club shop problem

I have forgoten my password for my club shop account, but when i fill out the forgotten password bit, i just get this message;

Email Error: Could not instantiate mail function. Please check Admin->Configuration->Email Options->Email Transport.

Server needs kicking again,again I'm afraid .....
It has been playing silly buggers for a while .I can't access it so will have to wait for someone that can :agree:
I cannot help with passwords as it's a privacy thing so I have no record .
