Hi all

i have some doubts about my present turbo pressure gauge setup. Tried searching, but to no avail.

It connects to the carb at one point, as seen on the photo and runs directly to the dashboard/turbo gauge.

Is it ok? I have seen some schematics where it was connected aslo to the intercooler hose, but found no photo.

If it is wrong, would my readings be not correct, or would there be some other problems also?

Thats the correct place for the standard guage. A connection here will only measure positive pressure at the carb top (standard guage can only measure pressure, not vacuum as well). If you want too plumb a seperate guage in that also measures vacuum, then plumb it into the vacuum line to the aei module that connects to the carb base, this will then measure positive boost & negative vacuum at the manifold ie what the engine is actualy getting after pressure drops across the intercooler & carb. Hope that helps.:)
