perc fan wont stop!!!

as above when perc fan kicks in it wont stop it ran for hours constantly till the battery went flat i have to take fuse out to stop it each time,is it a sticky relay or something were do i need to look is it them two relays near by:confused:

yeah id try and change the perc fan relay ( its one of the two down by the drivers headlight)

Could also be one of the temp sensors (in the turbo heatshield and Inlet manifold) could have stuck ???

Your per fan is controlled by 2 switches ( maybe one ) 1 on the heat sheild and 1 on the carb base plate. Best method to check the wiring is to unplug the sensors and see whether the perc stops. If it does then its a faulty sensor, if not it might be melted wires or the relay behind the drivers headlight is faulty. Does the bulkhead solenoid go click then you turn the ignition on when the perc is running. If so the relay is working correctly... Enjoy... New Perc fan sensors are in the club shop.

took wires off heatshield sensor and it still kept going, did'nt think of carb base one will check that and listen for click on relay
