boost gauge problem?

right well tried to wire up my new boost gauge today (again) i am taking the readings from carb base but when i turn the engine on its going down to 20:S would this have somthing to do with the turbo or would it be the silicone hoses i used.they are tight on tho so i have a feeling it aint them.what u think guys

Going down to 20? You talking about vacuum here, when engine running it will be a vacuum rather than pressure.

Perfectly normal mate, at the carb base the boost gauge will read vacumm
