Hi guys,
Over the last week i've whipped the gearbox out of Millie's Clio 172 to get the synchro's sorted & have put it back in this weekend.
I've now come to re-start the car after putting everything back in & the car turns over fine but just won't fire??
The immobiliser light on the dash doesn't seem to be flashing as though the Immob is on.
I've replaced the TDC sensor this morning also & still no luck??
I can't hear the fuel pump priming when I try & start the car & even if I hard wire the pump to run permanently it just won't fire??
And ideas guys as i'm doing a lot of this?:scratch::scratch:
Muchos Appreciatos?!

any joy with the bits i sugested on the blower? as the ecu controls the injectors as well as the fuel pump

No Mate! Tried everything you suggested - disconnected earth strap, nothing happened so earth strap connected, gave all relays a bang - no joy there, bridged out red button and still just turns over like a bag o'c**p!!??

Is it possible for the ECU to have gone duff for some reason??

PH1 isn't it?
Did you connect all the cables to the battery, and the earth wire from the loom that's sort of under the TB?

This thread just about sums up EVERYTHING I love about this club :agree:
I was in the SH1TE and shot a flare up in the air & in less than an hour I had the answer & this isn't even a Clio forum!!
I posted up a similar thread on Cliosh!tesport and i've just checked it & it didn't get ONE response.... not one!!!:crap: They're obviously all too busy talking about detailing & tuners! :jerkoff:
This is a friggin EXCELLENT club of similar likeminded members who aren't afraid of getting stuck in!
Love-in over... :crush:
