boost gauge??

hi,brought a boost gauge at the weekend so want to fit its this weekend.just wondering where is the best place to connect the gauge upto?from the original boost pipe that runs to the dash?also what size pipe will i need?thanks

everyones different, carb top or carb base..

if you have somewhere thats already cut then just add a t piece/twin rather than make another possible leak spot.. we just set up my old gtt to the aei's line, saved having more pipework in the engine bay, then took out loads of unwanted joins, hoses etc from past dump valves etc..:)

If you want to get a vacuum reading I'm pretty sure you need to take it from the carb base/AEI line (that's where mine is) ;).
