just a random one, if someone was to install a T2 instead of a rear box on a car, would an electric oil pump be ok to feed the turbo with oil, would it need a tank or just a continual loop of oil?
also, whats the lowest boost that can be run on a standard renault 5 GT turbo T2
thank you :)

if your pump does 70psi yes.
I think you'll need a bit more oil, and a cooler.
0psi is about as low as you can run.
Its just one of the most ridiculous ideas in the world of tuning I've ever seen - right up there with electric blow of valves for NA and the GT tunings cyber spray ;)
Richard Walsh has installed two of these on a Venturi and reckons they work well .Self oiling .
I've heard good reports and bad .....

Have you read the PPC article with the PUG 205 with turbo back box? I'm guessing that's where the idea came from?

yup. basically my other half has a 1.3 ka and I've got countless turbos etc so figured it could be an interesting way to waste a weekend. don't want more power, just a tiny bit of boost just because it's a girls ka ;-)
