Just a quicky, Ive just had myself an oil and filter change as i was too lazy to do it myself, i didnt specify what oil to use so my bad, but they used 5w-40 fully synthetic as thats what there technical computer told them, is this ok as i used 10w-40 semi synthetic last time.

Thanks in advance Mat

5w 40 will be perfectly fine matey the 5w basically allows the oil to start working better at lower temperatures so gives a better cold start viscosity.

i always use Castrol Magnatec 15W40 as the 5w can piss pass your oil seals....

I'm a tart and always use 15w-50w fully synth.

(unless my engines full of mayo:ashamed: then i use cheapy stuff to clear it out;))

Plenty of people use the cheaper oils with no issues.
