ek9 type r comparison [Archive]

ok folks ive always wanted one of these ek9 type r's but somehow i ended up with a clio trophy

has anyone on here ever driven one and are they really as good as these vtec yo boys make them out to be? not really bothered about the 0-60 and top speed stats, but want to understand them from a driving point of view, how do they compare with the clio sports

i think id sway away from both of them for a teg DC2 type R... ive turned all gay a jap tho over these last few years... :ashamed:

my friends got 1 down the road, there over prices for what they are and not that quick just sound nice on v-tec, the driving experiance isnt nothing special either

I have never personally driven one but they do look nice and sound nice. Go for a Jordan, you know you want to :D

Totaly agree with that, my mate had one and that's exactaly what I thought, they look alright though

I would rather have the honda for the simple reason that it could make 450+whp on stock sleeves with a fairly cheap turbo kit:) Plus it has a multi link rear end instead of a pony trailing arm, oh and you get a proper diff

I have ago in a ek9 type R, didn't think much of it and as for vtec yo, was pants, clio trophey is better everytime
