My moneys on the sunroof
any sign of damp on the headlining ?
yep, classic renault sunroof leak.
clean the rubber seal with a toothbrush, then run vaseline over it and close the sunroof.
Cheers guys, will get on that at the weekend then. We're predicted a bit more rain but I've covered the seat in a plastic cover for now! I forgot to check that Phoenix, but considering where most of the wet was, sunroof is was my first bet anyway.

Nice one sparkie, wish I'd have thought of that one before attacking it with silicon (carefully done btw, non visible) but I may have got carried away with the vas.

Damn unfortunately after yesterday's downpour it has come to light that I haven't stopped the problem :disagree:
Anyway... to do a proper job I think I need to take the sunroof out, easy job!?
I had this problem before but had a non sunroof model and I was told that it could be the heater matrix???
If its the heater matrix, the leak will (If your brave) tase sweet with antifreeze...Rain water will not :D
My ph1 leakes like a sieve...Water runs down down the side front windows and onto the door speakers into the car !, also leakes from the windscreen surround down into the footwells ......Sunroof doesnt leak anymore as i sealed the sodding thing up after many attempts to sort it properly :sad2: :D

As rich says could be the heater matrix, and another place could be the windscreen surround. If the windscreen hasn't been bonded in properly it can seep in through the bottom.

Too slow
It is only leaking on to my passenger seat though... don't think there's anything on the floor and certainly not around the dash area.
