H reg white R5 Turbo

Been offered a H reg white R 5 GTT just put a deposit on it. my friend brought it 7 months ago and after a month someone crashed into the front wing. its been inspected. just needs wing and possibly front bumper as there is a bit missing at the bottom. Its got service history upto 68k its now on 78k, lowered, side exit, uprated cam and T25 turbo. couldnt let it go to waste its been sat in his garage for 6 months.

the plan is to repair the body work run her for abit while i build the F7P turbo engine and drop that in see how it goes. Heres some pics of the engine parts i have already.

cheers mate ive always wanted one and its at a good price. Might try my 15" pro race 1.2 in black on its see what it looks like. Body work wise im keeping it standard.

That looks the nuts mate and well done with the mot. Mine very recently went through with just a number plate bulb gone. Makes ya very happy when your 20 year old car goes through better than most newer cars don't it. Keep the updates coming. :cool:

cheers today i fitted my clifford alarm and immoboliser off my old clio. sorted the rear wiper as it didnt work, the switch wasnt plugged in. repaired the coolent temp sensor plug as the connections where poor causing needle to work when it wanted. changed the boost gauge as it had a really old retro one fitted.

cheers mate. Had the exhaust done at a place my mate works at called J A C exhausts 2 mins from my house all made from scratch even the back box. He makes exhausts for anything

Update i found out the turbo was a T2 and the rear housing cracked so ive now fitted a T25 hybrid roller bearing turbo. Its just passed its MOT and it hit 80000 miles on the way there.

Plans are to tidy it up more and get rid of the carbon fibre bonnet and thinking about Ph 1 clio turbine wheels in black with polished lip

I got a universal kit off eBay then a few extra silicone pipes cost me about £180 in total. That hole is perfect for the pipe. I'm in hucknall not far from you Matt

Well well well look what I have found...

3 weeks ago I purchased this car and thought id have a look for an old thred and here it is. Well things have changed a small amount since then.

The carbon bonnet has gone and a standard white one is back.
The interior has been removed and standard gone back in.
There is a bit more surface rust.

But most important of all that hasnt changed is... its a 5 that runs and drives beautifully.
