Well after many miles over the last few years the old 5 was starting to require afew bits doing, so PMT developments, SW made a start. Not that many pictures of things as some jobs were done afew months ago

Right, last year i had already replaced all the brake / fuel lines, along with new handbrake cables and rear calipers

In May i fitted new front dampers with top donuts, bearings etc/ New arb bushes all round, new ball joints and track rod ends, stiff shift gear selecter thing, and FMIC

I took the engine out last week and generally gave it a freshen up, new oil pump internals, resealed sump, fitted some nice shot blasted brackets, inlet manifold etc etc. Also fitted a new clutch, and generally gave the engine bay and subframe a good clean and degrease. I also renewed the steering coloumn U/J as i rialised i could turn the steering wheel, 1/4 of a turn each way before i got any movement on the rack !! :ashamed:

And finally, im now in the middle of doing the last few jobs. New rear disks and bearings, new front caliper rebuild kit, front wheel bearings, front disks and pads all round, and try and seal the timing chain cover again as it still leaks :wasntme:

So despite the old girls somewhat "5laggy" exteriour, its actually coming together quite nicely now considering the amount of miles ive done over the last two years without replacing pretty much anything :D .....all in preperation of a good blast abroad later this year ;)

Oh...and the cup car is crying out for a good session at Mallory, cant wait :D:D
