Right this is the downpipe thats been made up for my conversion. Just wondering were to put the bung. Seen some of the 200sx downpipes having it located pointing down right at then top of the pipe, right next to the wastegate penny. This will shorten my probes life span wont it?

wants to be something like 6-9" away from the turbo. also needs to point up as much as poss so that condensation dosnt ruin the sensor.

Yeah dude i know its supposed to be about 4 inches away and point down as much as possible, just struggling as look how the downpipe will lie. Has anyone tried chopping a bung at 45 degrees and welded it on at that angle?

This is what i ment about the bung location on the 200sx

This would be nice and easy to locate in this spot but im just worried about how long the sensor is gonna last. Anyone tried it in this location on any turbo'd car?

That does look a little to close to the turbo itself

would have thought that any position would be ok for it as long as it is not pointing directly up and to close, and like james said that dose look to close.
