bodyshop near me charged about £200 to fit to full sills and sections of inner aswell, plus painted. based in burton though so a check.. check my project thread for pics, pretty good job i think for the money.

I supplied all parts, sills and paint.

he just charged for labour and lacquer/primer

I have a mate in nelson that did one of my sills for me, the corner of the front a-pillar and three patches in the floor pan, just the welding with no paint he did a tidy job for me and didn't mind the graft. Most welders turn there noses up as soon as the word rust is mentioned! :wasntme:

thought it was yours rob,get that fmic removed an the cross member welded back in
at the same time!!!

Sorry to butt in Rob - but both of mine need sills and jacking points too, so please let me know if you find somewhere reasonable in the area. I've tried a few places but they just come up with joke prices.
Of course I don't mind travelling for a decent job either and can supply all parts, so welcome suggestions from other members.

Just had mine done patched/repaired. Good job £200. In durham though so a fair trek.

this is the job i had done, he charged me £180 but said he'd under charged me a fair whack and in future it would be a little more but not much

Just been on the phone to my mate carl, he said he will replace sills and do pretty much any type of welding including paint.

He's done a tidy job on mine and is the type of guy who likes to do a job properly;)

He is based in Nelson in Lancashire, just off the M65

If anybody would like his number then PM me.
